Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Patrick C.S. Lo is the co-founder of NETGEAR and has been the Chairman and CEO since 2002. Patrick founded NETGEAR with Mark Merrill with the singular vision of providing the appliances to enable everyone in the world to connect to the high speed Internet for information, communication, business transactions, education, and entertainment. From 1983 until 1995, Mr. Lo worked at Hewlett-Packard Company, where he served in various management positions in sales, technical support, product management, and marketing in the US and Asia. Mr. Lo was named the Ernst & Young National Technology Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006. Mr. Lo received a BS degree in electrical engineering from Brown University.
Christine M. Gorjanc
Chief Financial Officer
Christine M. Gorjanc serves as our Chief Financial Officer, and joined NETGEAR as our Vice President, Finance in November 2005. From September 1996 through November 2005, Ms. Gorjanc served as Vice President, Controller, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary for Aspect Communications Corporation, a provider of workforce and customer management solutions. From October 1988 through September 1996, she served as the Manager of Tax for Tandem Computers, Inc., a provider of fault-tolerant computer systems. From June 1987 through October 1988, Ms. Gorjanc served as the Manager of Tax Operations for Xidex Corporation, a manufacturer of storage devices. Prior to that, Ms. Gorjanc worked in public accounting for eight years with a number of accounting firms. Ms. Gorjanc holds a B.A. in Accounting (with honors) from the University of Texas at El Paso, and an M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
Chief Technology Officer
Jeff Capone serves as our Chief Technology Officer and joined NETGEAR as Vice President of engineering through the acquisition of Leaf Networks in 2010. As CEO and co-founder of Leaf Networks, he was involved in all aspects of technology and corporate development including product and engineering management, technology licensing, patent filing and general management of the company. Before Leaf Networks, Jeff co-founded Aligo, Inc. and served as the CTO until 2004 where he lead the company’s technology vision. Prior to Aligo, Jeff was an assistant professor at Arizona State University and Director of the Network Engineering and Wireless Telecom Laboratory. Jeff's distinctions include the National Science Foundation's CAREER award, numerous IEEE Journal and conference publications. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
Senior Vice President, Advanced Engineering
Our co-founder Mark Merrill currently serves NETGEAR as Senior Vice President, Advanced Engineering. In this role, Mark continues to guide the emerging market efforts and work closely the RF engineering team to ensure technical leadership of our wireless networking products. Previously, Mr. Merrill served as our Chief Technology Officer from January 2003 to April 2013. From September 1999 to January 2003, he served as Vice President of Engineering and served as Director of Engineering from September 1995 to September 1999.
Chief Marketing Officer
Robin Selden joined NETGEAR in January 2012 and is responsible for Brand & Global Marketing. Before joining NETGEAR she was the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Dolby responsible for the entire Marketing organization, product marketing and corporate communications. While at Dolby, Robin developed their first Advertising and Social Media campaigns bringing the Dolby brand to life to a new younger audience. Robin’s last position at Logitech was VP & General Manager of the Streaming Media Business Unit where she grew the business 3X in two years. Prior positions at Logitech include Worldwide Marketing VP developing consumer marketing strategy and brand management for Logitech. Robin has over 20 years of experience in General Management and Marketing in technology, consumer product and Internet industries Robin has served on the Board of Advisors for Santa Clara University Graduate School of Business, is a recipient of the Silicon Valley TWIN award honoring Women Executives, and was recognized by the Silicon Valley Business Journal as one of the “Top Women in Business for 2003”. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Santa Clara University and graduated with honors with a Bachelors of Science from California Polytechnic State University.
General Manager & Senior Vice President, Service Provider Business Unit
Michael Clegg serves as our General Manager & Senior VP for our Service Provider Business Unit having joined NETGEAR in August 2005. Mr. Clegg has 20+ years’ experience in bringing innovative products to market that enable broadband networks and services for telecom, cable and mobile, both infrastructure and CPE. He was active in the genesis of DSL access products, Broadband Internet for fixed and Wireless and on-demand services. Mr. Clegg has previously held executive positions at Entrisphere (now part of Ericsson), Virtual Access, Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe, Westell Inc. and Scientific Generics (now Sagentia). Mr. Clegg received both a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. degree in Digital Systems Design from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
General Manager & Senior Vice President, Commercial Business Unit
John McHugh serves as NETGEAR’s General Manager & Senior Vice President for the Commercial Business Unit, overseeing the development and delivery of the industry’s premiere line of networking and storage solutions for SMB customers. Prior to joining NETGEAR, McHugh led the commercial networking business units at both Nortel and Hewlett-Packard. During his career, John has held leadership roles in R&D, Marketing and Manufacturing, as well as having over 12 years of experience in General Management. John holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and in Computer Science from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Senior Vice President of Operations and Support
Michael F. Falcon is Senior Vice President of Operations and Support, having joined NETGEAR in November 2002 as Vice President of Operations. From September 1999 to November 2002, Mr. Falcon worked at Quantum Corporation, a data technology company, where he served as Vice President of Operations and supply chain management. From April 1999 to September 1999, Mr. Falcon was at Meridian Data, a storage company acquired by Quantum Corporation, where he served as Vice President of Operations. From February 1989 to April 1999, Mr. Falcon was at Silicon Valley Group, a semiconductor equipment manufacturer, where he served as Director of Operations, Strategic Planning and Supply Chain Management. Prior to that, he served in management positions at SCI Systems, an electronics manufacturer, Xerox Imaging Systems, a provider of scanning and text recognition solutions, and Plantronics, Inc., a provider of lightweight communication headsets. Mr. Falcon received a B.A. degree with Honors in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and has completed coursework in the M.B.A. program at Santa Clara University.
Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, General Counsel and Company Secretary
Andrew Kim serves as our Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, General Counsel and Company Secretary. Prior to joining NETGEAR, Mr. Kim served as Special Counsel in the Corporate and Securities Department of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he represented public and private technology companies in a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing arrangements, securities law compliance and corporate governance. In between two terms at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, he served as Partner in the Business and Finance Department of Schwartz Cooper Chartered in Chicago, Illinois, and was an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Mr. Kim began practicing law with the New York firms Thacher Proffitt & Wood and Morgan Lewis & Bockius, advising clients on all aspects of corporate and securities law. Mr. Kim holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School, and received a B.A. degree in history from Yale University.
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Tamesa Rogers serves as Senior Vice President, Human Resources and joined NETGEAR in 2003. Most recently, she was NETGEAR's Vice President, Human Resources starting in January 2009. From March 2000 to December 2003, Ms. Rogers worked at TriNet Employer Group, a professional employer organization, as a Human Resources Manager, providing HR consulting to technology companies throughout Silicon Valley. Prior to TriNet, Ms. Rogers served in various human resources functions in several Northern California companies. Ms. Rogers received a BA in Communication Studies from UC Santa Barbara and an MS in Counseling from California State University, Hayward.
